We have a 'Chat Box' in the forum now, which is just that, an instant messenger.

Down the bottom of the page next to 'whos online' you will see a 'join the chat' button, click this and it will log you into a real time chat session with anyone else logged into chat on the forums.

May be useful if people make it a habit of logging into chat when they log on?
